NEW MACHINE TOOL IMPORTER SETS EYE ON QUALITY
YMT, Inc., a machine tool importer will make its debut at the 2010 IMTS Exhibition featuring upper ranged machine tools including full lines of VMC, 5-axis machining centers and HMC from Quaser Machine Tool; full line of double column & Plano machining centers with 5 face capability from Kao Ming Machinery; and its own line of horizontal turning centers ranging from 8” to 18” chuck size. The goal is to provide top tier machining tools and complete manufacturing solutions to its North American customers.
Therefore continuing expansion of product lines to include vertical turning centers and CNC rotary tables will be on this year's agenda for the company as well.
YMT is headed by Richard Chen who has over 15 years of experience in machine tools industry. “The US manufacturing industry has changed in the last 10 years. Customers are looking for machines with higher productivity, quality and precision. Our company is dedicated to provide the right products and solutions to fulfill the customer’s needs”, Richard explained.
Richard will diligently oversee the quality aspect of machine tools suppliers that his company represents. He has brought on board to his team Mr. Paul Custer who will be in charge in sales as the National Sales Manager in North America. Paul has had machining technology experience stretching over 35 years, more currently as the National Sales Manager for YCI and previously with Hwacheon and Mazak.
YMT will exhibit total of 10 machines ranging from 5-axis to high productivity to oversized machines. The new MF400 5-face machining center from Quaser is the most economical 5-face machining center in its class. With 12.75” x 11.8” maximum work piece size, the MF400 is ideal for complicated work pieces that require multiple setups. With MF400, parts can be finished with a single setup and not worry about accuracy lost from transferring your part from one setup to another.
YMT will also feature the all new UX600 5-axis machining center from Quaser with full 5-axis machining capability. The UX600 is equipped with integrated tilting rotary table with Ø23.6” maximum swing and 660 lbs of table load. The proven rotary table is both fast and accurate with maximum 33 rpm at C-axis and 25 rpm at A-axis and can maintain accuracy of 14 and 10 seconds respectively.
To further enhance the accuracy of UX600, thermal management combines coolant through ball screw, motor and motor mount cooling and head stock cooling to reduce the effect of thermal growth.
YMT will also debut the new HX504II horizontal machining center from Quaser. The all new HX504II features oversized work piece capacity of 30” x 31.5” with 1100 lbs of maximum table load. The 12,000 rpm spindle uses LUBCON re-greasing technology with spindle output up to 30hp. HX504II offers high speed disk type 60 tools magazine with option up to 240 tools. The 55mm roller type guideways on X & Z axis combined with powerful axial motors and oversized ball screw offers unmatched speed, rigidity and accuracy all in one machine.
Kao Ming’s all new KMC-4000SV-H( C) double column machining center features 143” x 77” x 30” of travel and a wide distance of 82.6” between the columns. This machine is highly versatile and is ideal for vast machining requirement. The KMC-4000SV-H( C) offers advanced 90 degree automatic angular head system that allows you to change from vertical to horizontal heads effortlessly.
